The ‘Don’t Be a Jerk’ Policy

I’m all about honest communication, creative teamwork, and mutual respect. I work with people, not ticket numbers, and I expect that same energy in return. Let’s skip the micromanaging and ghosting – just bring clear feedback, good vibes, and a little trust, and we’ll create something great together.

What I Expect:

Mutual respect

Kindness is non‑negotiable. I will communicate openly, honestly, and with care, and I expect the same courtesy from you.

Constructive feedback

Share your thoughts clearly and respectfully so the work can improve. Rudeness, insults, or passive‑aggressive comments are not part of the process.

Consistent communication

Timely replies keep projects moving. If communication stops for more than two weeks without notice, the project will be paused and may require a restart fee or new timeline.

Respect for boundaries

My working hours and response windows exist to protect both creativity and mental health. Please avoid repeated “urgent” requests outside those boundaries unless we have agreed otherwise.

Trust in the process

You hired me for my expertise. Collaboration and questions are welcome, but constant micromanaging slows everything down and weakens the final result.

When Things Cross the Line

If behaviour becomes hostile, demeaning, or persistently disrespectful, I reserve the right to end the project. In that case, all work completed to date will be invoiced and payable, and any future work will not move forward.

This policy is here to protect a healthy, creative partnership so we can make excellent work together without anyone burning out or feeling unsafe.
