Hey, I’m Nicole – the web designer and illustrator behind HeyDaisy Design, based right here in Calgary.
I’ve loved art since I was a kid – showing my work in local exhibits, designing tee-shirts and yearbook covers, and finding fascination in penmanship. That grew into my love for hand-lettering and eventually seeing my illustrations in print publications. And as a teenager, I learned how to manipulate code to customize my MySpace profile. Yep…I was one of those kids and it wasn’t just a phase. 😉
Being neurodivergent, I naturally lean toward designs that feel good and are visually interesting, without being too overwhelming. I pay attention to the little details, because those definitely matter, too.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me cozy gaming, tending to my houseplants, reading a book, or exploring the outdoors with my husband and our mini dachshund, Maple.

Yes, SEO and conversions matter – but so does the *feeling* your site gives. I design for real visitors: the ones browsing from their phones on a busy day, hoping to quickly see if you’re the right fit. I want your site to meet them with clarity, calm, and a touch of personality.
