HeyDaisy Design is committed to building a website that is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone — including people with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and users with different devices or assistive technologies.
1. My Commitment
I aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Accessibility and usability are part of every project I take on, and I continually seek new ways to make digital experiences more inclusive.
2. Features That Support Accessibility
This website includes:
- Support for keyboard navigation and screen readers
- Meaningful and descriptive alt text for images
- Consistent and intuitive navigation
- Sufficient colour contrast for readability
- Responsive layout and resizable text
- Semantic and properly structured HTML
- Consideration for sensory-friendly and distraction-conscious design choices
3. Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is a continuous process. I regularly review the site, test it with accessibility tools, and learn from evolving best practices. Improvements are made as new standards, technologies, and feedback emerge.
4. Feedback Welcome
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if there’s something I could make easier to use or understand, please reach out: nicole@heydaisy.design
Include details about the page or feature you had trouble with, and any assistive technology or settings you use (if comfortable sharing). I’ll do my best to address the issue as quickly as possible.
Inclusivity is ongoing, and your feedback helps create a more accessible web for everyone.
